Description	A copy of the 1997 Progress Report of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD), covering its activities over the previous 5 years. This 113-page document was put together for the Medical Research Council (MRC)’s 1997 review of the NSHD. As the NSHD's core costs have been funded by the MRC since 1962, the MRC carries out these reviews of the study every 5 years. They are therefore also known as 'quinquennial reviews' or ‘QQRs’. File also contains financial information tables of the costs of the NSHD, prepared in advance of the 1997 review.
