Title	MRC 1997 review: Committee members' papers

Description	A file of papers prepared for each member of a subcommittee of the Medical Research Council (MRC) Health Services and Public Health Research Board, which was responsible for conducting a visit and review of the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). As the NSHD's core costs have been funded by the MRC since 1962, the MRC carries out these reviews of the study every 5 years. They are therefore also known as 'quinquennial reviews' or ‘QQRs’. This file includes: - a general overview of the review process; - the terms of reference of the Subcommittee; - programmes for the preliminary meeting and visit; - the criteria for assessment.
