Description	Papers regarding a grant application to fund the 1999 data collection (or 'sweep') of the National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). This file includes: - A successful grant application (68 pages) for a Medical Research Council (MRC) grant, under the title 'Ageing and health in middle life in the MRC National Survey of Health and Development'. This application proposes that the NSHD will take several kinds of health measurements of its members in 1999, and collect DNA samples for the first time. - Referees' comments, and the NSHD's responses. - Correspondence with the MRC regarding approval of the 1999 data sweep. - Correspondence with supporters and potential collaborators. - Quotations for biological procedures.
