Description	Correspondence and documents re the sinking of SS St Kilda by a Russian cruiser off Hong Kong in June 1905. This incident happened during the Russo-Japanese war when the ship was wrongly accused of carrying contraband. Pares became involved in helping the ship's owner to take legal action against the Russian Government which was successful.
