Manuscript. Contains childhood letters (earliest age 7) about rabbits "Snowdrop" and "Whiskers" (includes drawings), new toys, new games, news of pets and wildlife, magic tricks, on his general activities boarding at Lady Barn House School, on reading Kidnapped and seeing a production of "Peter Pan", asking for advice on a historical figure to write on whilst at Dragon School, Oxford, and enclosing a short story on escaping brigands undersigned as William Paterson.
Also contains two letters written as an adult, the first dated 30 December 1953 about creating a private company for Biometrika, due to uncertainty about the legal standing of the original Biometrika Trust Deeds; and a letter dated 16 December 1972 enclosing a colour photograph of a sketch by Maria Sharpe Pearson of Gatwick Cottage and recollections of its recent occupants (David Pye, former UCL Provost and his widow Margaret Kennedy).
