Description | Box 1; 1. Album of press cuttings of reviews of Marian Ray's film strips. Arranged chronologically and by film. Most reviews have been pasted in and annotated with date and publication but there are also many loose cuttings tucked inside. 2. 'Fossils' Illustrations: Set of copy printed illustrations from the 'Fossils filmstrip, and an order form. 3. Wooden board, used when she was painting the artwork and/or in the photographic process. Has metal pegs that correspond to the holes at the top of most of the illustration cards. 4. 'Hiawatha' Illustrations: Original handpainted illustrations for Ray's filmstrip 'Hiawatha'. This film strip was different to the others: there was no accompanying book but the words appeared on the film. Ray described it as more "designed" than the others and the original illustration boards are a different size. Unfortunately, there is no copy of the film in the archive. 5. Sheet of stickers with Marian Ray logo. 6. Roll of stickers with Marian Ray logo. 7. Single frame from 'Hiawatha' strip, with transparent overlay and sticker.
