AdminHistoryThe end of the First World War saw the creation of Czechoslovakia and RWSW's friend T G Masaryk the new state's first president. The relationship between the Czechs and Slovaks became one of RWSW's major interests during the inter war period. He wrote 'The New Slovakia' (1924) and was editor of 'Slovakia then and now' (1931) as well as authoring several works on the Munich Crisis and a number of articles. He visited Czechoslovakia in 1919, 1923, 1928, 1929, 1937 for President Masaryk's funeral and 1938. During the Munich Crisis, RWSW lobbied with vigour on Czechoslovakia's behalf.
