| Description | A book of minutes of the London Administrative Committee of the Trades Advisory Council (TAC), covering meetings held between January 1945 and April 1952. This committee was originally known as the Administrative Council. This minute book has been created by sticking copies of typescript pages of minutes into a blank volume, although some pages are loose.
These meetings generally discussed the following items:
- the monthly report of the General Secretary on the recent activities of the TAC;
- membership of the TAC;
- updates on the activities of various TAC subcommittees and regional branches;
- finances;
- relations with the Board of Deputies.
At the front of this volume there are also some loose papers from meetings of the Administrative Council, c.1942. |
