Date1936-1968
DescriptionVarious kinds of material regarding fascism and antisemitism, collected by Maurice Orbach, General Secretary of the Trades Advisory Council (TAC), for his 'Fascist activities' files. Some of the far-right organisations in this material openly describe themselves as ‘fascist’, whereas others dispute being labelled as such. Some organisations in this material are openly anti-Jewish, but some are only suspected of anti-Jewish discrimination. This file also includes some material which is openly anti-Communist.

The material in this file includes:

- leaflets and circulars for fascist and far-right organisations;
- press cuttings regarding antisemitism in the UK;
- anti-Jewish letters sent to MPs;
- anti-Jewish leaflets containing threats;
- correspondence where people are alerting the TAC to antisemitic material, and to far-right events;
- circulars which monitor far-right groups in Europe;
- far-right newspapers.
