The latter include Director Andrew Pollard and Deputy Director Mary James's keynote speech ''Why bother with research: evidence-based principles for teaching and learning' which was made in conjunction with the launch of the TLRP's Commentary on 'Teaching Learning in Schools' and formed part of the ESRC Social Science Week. Also includes planning correspondence and handwritten notes.

AdminHistory'TLRP launched a Commentary on contemporary public policy and practice in education drawing on the findings of its portfolio of school-focused projects.The Commentary provided an overview of cross-Programme findings about teaching and learning in schools. The venue for the launch was the 2006 National Teacher Research Conference on ‘Effective Professional Learning: Making Practitioner Research Work’. The event was especially aimed at teachers with a strong committment to the role of research in the improvement of policy and practice'.
