| AdminHistory | 'This fourth conference is jointly organised by the OECD's Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI), the Teaching and Learning Research Programme (TLRP) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) in conjunction with the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) in England.
The conference will explore issues surrounding the implementation of evidence based policy research. Key foci of this exploration will be on:
•the challenges of effective scaling up and sustaining of projects,
•how funders evaluate effectiveness and efficacy,
•the value-added of programmes versus projects.
The conference will also:
•draw final conclusions from the seminar series;
•consider issues of effective implementation of policy research
•explore areas for further international investigation.
The conference format will have an innovative design and aims to foster discussion among (senior) policy makers, funders of research programmes, and the wider education community concerned with evidence based research issues, i.e., educational researchers, practitioners/teachers/school leaders and intermediary organisations'.
