Description	Comprises the dissertation of I C Simpson on 'A study in the nomenclature of awards in initial training for teaching at colleges of education, university departments of education, and art training centres, and in the nomenclature of courses at colleges of education'. The dissertation was submitted as part of the course for the Diploma in Sociology and Psychology of Education, Leicester Unviersity 1965-1967. It was presumably used by UCET as part of their own research into nomenclature and awards.
