| Description | A collection of early correspondence received by the university's administrative office between 1825 and 1918. It is further divided into smaller series, partly based on the original filing system used by office clerks at the time. Series 1-6 are divided by correspondence relating to different subjects, with the last series in the collection being general correspondence, received between 1825-1905, and arranged alphabetically by surname of sender.
Work to catalogue this collection is underway and new series will be added intermittently.
