Description | Correspondence between Ethel Froud and A. Muriel Pierotti (NUWT) and the Women's Advisory Council of the United Nations Association (UNA) (formerly the League of Nations Union) regarding promoting equal rights for women and campaigning for peace. The WAC was set up partly to keep the Executive Committee of the League of Nations Union informed of the opinions of women's organisations for the maintenance of peace and to 'provide a forum for study and exchange of opinion on international affairs'.
