DescriptionCorrespondence between Ethel Froud and A. Muriel Pierotti (NUWT), NUWT branch members including Helen Dedman and Florence Key, various Local County Councils, the Ministry of Health, and the Association of Education Committees regarding Air Raid Precautions (ARP) and the proposed use of schools for first-aid and decontamination centres. The NUWT policy was that if hostilities started then the priority for teachers was that the education of children should not be interrupted. In a circular sent to the Home Office and other individuals and organisations they stated that the use of educational buildings as First Aid stations should not be permitted.
