AdminHistoryIn 1928 the NUWT undertook an enquiry into the condition of modern school buildings and subsequently issued a memorandum on on the same subject in 1929. The enquiry was the result of the Board of Education's removal of school building regulations (though the Board still had the final approval) which allowed local authorities to build experimental and innovative schools. The NUWT wanted to see the extent of the innovations and convince the Board to approve more progressive style schools. The memorandum was subsequently revised in 1936.
ArrangementThe material from both enquires is mixed up between the two folders.
