| Description | The box items are cloth banners/ pennants made from mixed materials. The main design for the banner would include the Woodcraft Folk emblem/logo/badge and colours to start. The standard colours for the cloth-based mixed material shields/banners were green, red and yellow; this would form the trimming along the edges, and the rest of the colours would be incorporated in the design; there is often a mixed material emblem in the centre of the shield or banner, there are stitched letters and embroidery letters, and stencil lettering. There are varying shapes, from shields, triangles, rectangles and squares; the size of items would also vary. Some items are identified by place and date; the dated items range from the earliest 1948 to the latest 1967. Mottos or sayings are often included in banners of themes such as friendship, nature, and motivation. Some items have frayed edges and a wooden holder to mount banners/shields. There are hand-painted designs of either fabric/acrylic/water colour paint; most items are in good condition for access.
B/1 Text reads 'Thames Thing', Faded cloth, with embroidered ropes and mix felt material.
Size: 24 inches / 61mm length and 18 inches/ 48mm width.
Condition: Poor condition slight residue, faded embroidery, can be handled.
B/2 Text reads 'MARLY-LE-ROI 1957 - MOUVEMENT DE L'ENFANCE OUVRIERE 25 ANNIVERSAIRE - INTERNATIONAL FALCON MOVEMENT 10 ANNIVERSAIRE', Cotton red and white triangle.
Size: 41 inches or 101 mm length by 20.5 inches wide at middle point.
Condition: Good.
B/3: Text reads 'Wayfarers'- Yellow fabric with black letters and a foot shape appliqued and stitched on, rectangle shaped.
Size:43 inches/110 mm length by 29 inches or 74mm width.
Condition: good slight discolouration from age and use.
B/4: Text reads 'The Woodcraft Folk - Span the World with Friendship', There is a print of the Woodcraft FOlk circular logo of trees with the sun behind, as well as three burning logs with fire. Triangular Flag with yellow background and green and red text and images printed on the fabric.
Size:13 inches/ 33mm length by 7 inches or 18 mm width.
Condition: Good.
B/5 (D:) 'The Woodcraft Folk Festival 1968', Triangle Green, white and red.
Size:10 inches / 26mm length by 5.5 inches / 14mm width.
Condition: Good.
B/6: Text reads 'Woodcraft Folk Elfin Handicraft Trophy, 1950' This is a cloth banner appliqued with felt writing and shapes of an elephant, pot of pencils andpaintbrushes, book stop, sheets of paper and some little boxes. It is red, white and green, shield shaped with a wooden handing rod, reinforced with different material as backing.
Size: 20.5 inches /52mm length by 15.5inches/ 39mm width.
Condition: Good slight discolouration from age.
B/7: Text reads 'Woodcraft Folk. Nomads. Pioneers.' This is a green red and yellow banner, squared with triangle tip. It features a sun and two trees which are yellow fabric, macinbe embroidered to the green background. The writing is in red ribbon which has been folded to shape the letters then stitched down.
Size: 34inches/ 88mm length by 23.5 inches/ 60mm width.
Condition: Good.
B/8 Text reads 'Woodcraft Folk Elfin Handicraft Trophy, 1949' This is a cloth banner appliqued with felt writing and shapes of a rabbit, piece of fabric, scissors, glue and thread. It is red, grey, green, red, and pink with the Woodcraft Folk green, yellow and red logo at the bottom. he banner has a wooden hanging pole through the top and some thin fishing wire attached.

Condition: Good.
B/9 Text reads 'East Bergholt WCF', Square Yellow based with multi coloured painting, fabric paint/ acrylic with hand stitched pieces.
Size: 47 inches/120mm length by 47inches / 120mm width.
Condition: Good.
B/10 Text reads 'East Bergholt Woodcraft Folk - span the world with friendship'. Rectangle fabric red and green, with WF symbol/badge. The letters and Woodcraft Folk logo are stuck on to the fabric.
Size: 63 inches/160mm length by 43 inches/110 mm width.
Condition: Good.
B/11 Text reads 'WIEN 1958 - WOODCRAFT FOLK' Green Satin triangle. This banner was made to commemorate the death of a young Woodcraft Folk member whilst on a camp in Austria.

B/12 Text reads ‘Pioneer Sports’, there is an appliqued deer above the writing. Rectangle banner, green, pink and blue felt.

B/13 'Normanby Hall 1967' Small green triangle with WF crest/logo/symbol
Size: 8 inches/20mm length by 5inches /13mm width
Condition: Fair, it is dirty but stitchig is all still in place.
B/14 large green rectangular banner with red and yellow embroidery, frayed edges held together with safety pins. It is embroidered with the words 'The Woodcraft Folk. With the light of knowledge, Educate for Peace'. Features an embroidery of a hand holding a torch. You can see some spots where this banner has been repaired .
