TitleGeneral Secretary's Reports to National Council
Date1958-1983
DescriptionReports of the Woodcraft Folk's General Secretary, to the Folk Council and National Council meetings. There are some gaps in the dates covered. During this date range, the General Secretary was Margaret White. Issues that frequently came up in these reports are: the tensions of being a volunteer-based organisation; appointment of paid workers; planning Annual Delegate Conferences (ADCs); planning training camps; reports from camps; international work; visits to other countries; the International Falcon Movement (IFM); regional groups and their membership statistics; relations with the Cooperative Movement; relations with The National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS); publicity; government cuts; accusations of being a political organisation (and hence allegedly should not be a charity); and activities in the Peace movement.

See YMA/WF/365/24 for more papers of the National Council.
