Description	45 small booklets published by the AMMA with the banner 'AMMA Briefing', which are aimed at members. Some of these were regular publications and newsletters, others were produced about specific topics. The AMMA Briefings in this collection consists of: - Newsletters published every two or three months. The earlier ones have the sub-heading 'For Representatives'. There is a continuous run of these publications from Number 9 (November 1979) to Number 42 (1987). - 'Guide for Representatives' - these booklets are produced annually, and are slightly larger than the newsletters. Representatives were seen as vital links between individual members, and AMMA Headquarters. Topics include: the law with respect to teaching; good teaching practice; news regarding employment; news regarding the AMMA. - 'Safety in Schools: A guide to the operation of the Health and Safety at Work in schools and colleges' - 'For the Record: Information and advice on topics of importance to teachers in 1979' - 'Out of School: A practical guide to the responsibility of teachers in charge of pupils on school journeys'
