| Description | This section was Part I of the original (1985) Barlow list. A division has been made between his published and unpublished Dante work. All the material relating to his published work has been arranged in the order in which Barlow himself placed it in "Opere Dantesche del Cavaliere Dottore Enrico Clark Barlow" (1872), although for some of his known publications there is no manuscript, draft or rough notes to include here.
A similar method was adopted in the arrangement of the material relating to his unpublished work by making use of his "Works on the Divina Comedia Preparing for Publication" (1859), but ignoring those works which were subsequently published (i.e. already included in the first sub-section). |
