Description	First French translation of "Das Kapital". Translated by Joseph Roy and published by Maurice Lachâtre. Issued in 44 livraisons between 1872-1875. Manuscript inscription on the title page [in Beesly's hand?] states that this copy was given to Beesly by Marx, and contains several ink corrections in Marx's own hand. The final annotation is not Marx's hand but matches the hand on the title page inscription. The other annotations are Marx's.
