Includes a copy of Investigatory Powers Tribunal Complaint Form T2 completed by Bethell on 9 February 2004.

The papers also include a letter from Lord Bethell to the Cabinet Office dated 2 January 2002 agreeing that retained documents from Prime Minister's Office files PREM 5/519 and PREM 5/520 should be open to the public stating "I would naturally like the papers to be opened in as full a version as possible".

AdminHistoryBetween 1996 and 2006, Bethell made requests to the Prime Minister's Office and Cabinet Office regarding access to papers relating to him during his time in Government, under the 30 year rule for release of documents, Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. He also complained to the Investigatory Powers Tribunal in 2004.
