AdminHistoryJames Money was a historian who lived on the Italian island of Capri. He wrote 'Capri: Island of pleasure' (London, 1986), a social history of Capri which documents its various visitors through the centuries and their impressions of the island.
AcquisitionBequeathed after Money's death in 1991 to UCL Library in accordance with an existing arrangement between Money, the Librarian F J Friend and J R Hale, Professor of Italian. Transferred to Special Collections in January 1992.
