AdminHistoryThis Fund was established in 1975 with funds from the British Library following the dissolution of the Council of the British National Bibliography Ltd (1949-1975). It supported bibliographic and related research in the UK. The Fund was taken over by Resource, the Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries, in 2000 and abolished in 2001. Clarke represented the Royal Society on the Fund's Committee from 1991 and opposed its abolition.
