DescriptionThere are hand written versions on loose paper and in notebooks [by Schiller] and typed versions. One particular conversation between Gerda and her friend Audrey on 17 May 1931 has then been adapted and the names replaced with Alice and Barbara. This conversation has also been used as the basis for another conversation between Sarah and Ann.

AdminHistoryThe Schillers' recorded the conversations of their daughters. This seems to have been a joint project between Schiller and his wife and he made use of this work in his lectures. Conversations were also recorded between Gerda and her friend Audrey and Meryl.
ArrangementOn arrival at the Institute of Education this material was stored together except for that concerning the conversations between Sarah and Ann and Mary and Jane which have been added to the file because of their similar nature.
