Note on the reverse of the mount reads: "Note by Julia Sharpe: This picture (with 'William Turner of Oxford' on the frame) hung in my father's dressing room at Highbury during my childhood. It was given to Aunt Lizzie Reid at Gaydon Lodge and after her death, to me." [Julia Sharpe was E S Pearson's aunt]. |
