DescriptionNotes and correspondence relating to E S Pearson's research into the history of the Pearson family. In the late 1970s until his death in June 1980, ESP appears to have worked on putting his own and his father's research on the Yorkshire Pearsons into order. Typescripts of ESP's work, titled "Notes Connected with the Pearson and Other Yeomen Families Living in the Dales of the Cleveland Hills and N. Yorkshire Moors", and original source material can be found in these files. Some of Karl Pearson's original notes can be found in this file, the bulk can be found in a separate sub-series, E S PEARSON/1/5/3.
