Description | Small photgraphs which have been arranged in an album, with captions written on the pages around the photos. The photos range from being taken aboard the ship 'Kildonan Castle' in 1925, to being aboard the ship 'Edinburgh Castle' in December 1925, to Cape Town in February 1926, to 'Wychwood' (presumably the school) in February 1927, to Windsor in June 1927, to Weston-on-the-Green in September 1927, to Tenerife in 1928, to being aboard the ship 'Arundale Castle' in December 1928, to South Africa in July 1929, to Madeira in August 1929 (and being aboard the ship 'Windsor Castle'), to Sussex in August 1929, and finally to Begbroke in 1930. The photgraphs are mainly taken of landmarks, scenery, Clarke family members, and family friends.
The album appears to have been put together by Mary Clarke (one of Fred's daughters). |
