AdminHistory | The Publications Committee was established in 1891 and was renamed the Editorial Committee in 1893. The name reverted to the Publications committee in 1895. The Publications Committee was reconstituted as the General Committee of the Council of the Folklore Society by a Council resolution on 21 February 1906. The resolution stated that the new General Committee would be responsible for 1) finance, 2) papers intended to be printed and 3) matters referred to it by the Council. The General Committee was renamed the Finance and Publications Committee on 14 Feburary 1910. |
