| Description | Papers regarding a survey by Gene Adams looking at inner London schools usage of museums and galleries in light of the Education Reform Act (1988) and the abolition of the ILEA. The report was initially published in March 1990 as 'Survey of Museums & Gallery Usage by ILEA Schools 1988-1989' but only 500 copies were published before the ILEA was abolished. Adams wanted to circulate the report to schools in inner London and using her own resources published a second edition of the report, 'Aspects of the Impact of Museum Charges on School Visits to Museums and Galleries in Inner London: 1988-1989', in September 1990. |
