| Description | Articles and reviews by Francis Galton published in Nature, and press cuttings from The Times, mainly constituting letters to the Editor from various correspondents. This file originally contained a folder labelled "Memoirs by F. Galton Vol. VI", and three letters, from G J Allman, C Graham, and G A Spottiswoode respectively. The letters are pasted into the book Memoirs by F. Galton Vol. VII, and the descriptions for these letters can be found in GALTON/3/1/1. The book enclosing the letters has been re-bound and now shows the wrong volume number on the spine, reading "Vol. VII" instead of "Vol. VI". |
