Description | Four letters from Sir E F Du Cane to Galton dated March - July 1891, mostly regarding thumb prints and taking fingerprints. Two letters from Du Cane to Galton dated 10 and 12 January 1895 suggesting that the infant Prince Edward (later King Edward VIII) should be fingerprinted in case he was kidnapped. Also a page of MS notes by Du Cane (annotated by Galton) on the number of fingerprints in the central registry. |
