In Dec 1904, after attending Galton's lecture on eugenics at the Sociological Society, Saleeby set out to popularize this new creed. He was influential in the foundation of the Eugenics Education Society, founded in 1907, although he fell out with the officers. He continued to lecture on eugenics at the Royal Institution.
