Folder 4 (a); Two copies of 'A Celebration of the Centenary of the Birth of Lionel Penrose', 13 March 1998 at The Wellcome Building, containing programme of talks and list of participants; and Folder 4 (b); Two copies of 'Report on a symposium held to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Lionel Penrose', containing text of the talks delivered at the symposium. Folder 4 (c); Twenty-six copies of a printed leaflet entitled 'Revised Weight Charts for Male and Female Babies' providing instructions for use of wall charts showing projected health and weight of female and male babies from working class families over a year.
Folder 5; Large table of figures, bound like a portfolio, titled 'Graphisch-Mechanischer Apparat zur Auflsung Numerischer Gleichungen mit Gemeinvestndlichen Erluterungen von Dr C. Reuschle'. Produced in Stuttgart, 1885. Inscribed 'Karl Pearson' on front cover. Also contains offprint of the same title. Blank schedules for various investigations on heredity, particularly inheritance of disease, ability or characters. Most schedules require anthropometric measurements. Also contains a letter from K Pearson about the investigation into hereditary special diseases, 15 May 1907, (see GALTON LABORATORY/2/3/7).
