Solomon, painter; married Herbert Bentwich (originally Bentwitch) (1856-1932), lawyer and Zionist leader, 1880; nine daughters and two sons, including Norman de Mattos Bentwich (1883-1971), colonial official and exponent of Jewish ideals; talented pianist; died 1915.
