DescriptionInvitation from Mr. and Mrs. Anselm Kapralik, announcing the birth of a son and inviting the receiver to the 'ritual ceremony' [i.e. the Circumcision ceremony] on Wednesday, March 11th [note that two dates are given, February 28th and March 11th, the latter is Gregorian.]. The ceremony was to take place in their recidence, Calea Mosilor No. 76, Bucarest.

AdminHistoryNote that the address listed for the ceremony was within the Old Jewish District of Bucharest and seems to be the same address as the Beth Hamidraș Temple, also known as the Old Beit Hamidrash (Romanian: Beyth Homidraş Vechi) syangogue, which was located at 76-78 Calea Moșilor, and built in the same year as this invitation - 1896.
