One letter explains the objectives of the institution to Gaster and appeals for charitable help from him, and includes a handwritten note on the back from Rabbi Jacob Meir, Chief Rabbi of Palestine. Another letter is handwritten from Yaakov Yitzhak (J. I.) Eliach, following a telephone conversation with Gaster, hoping he will be interested in the institution. J. I. Eliach also writes to arrange an appointment with Gaster. Includes a printed charity appeal for Beth Tawshil Haklali after the building was affected by an earthquake.
