DescriptionLetters and circulars sent to Moses Gaster regarding his involvement with the Folklore Society. Gaster was an active member of the Society, and an expert in Romanian folklore. He spoke at many of their events and meetings, and was President of the Folklore Society 1907-1908.

The letters and circulars relate to meetings, membership, subscriptions, events, publications, and the general administration of the society. They consist mainly of handwritten letters, and also include printed circulars regarding events, invitation postcards for meetings, agendas, memos, and reports. The handwritten letters also include correspondence on a more personal level, alongside updates regarding the Society.

These items are almost entirely written in English, although a small number are in German or Spanish. The 21 folders are organised by year, with the 21st folder being the year 1938. This folder also includes a sub-folder of undated material.
