Description | Mainly typed outgoing correspondence of Moses Gaster. The file appears to have originally be arranged chronologically, but, at some point, it has been arranged alphabetically, presumably by UCL Library staff. There are two indexes, one in a numerical order, and the other that is alphabetical. Several numbers have been written on the letters by Library staff, with the number on the letter corresponding to the number on the alphabetical index. The numbers on the chronological index at the front of the folder are incorrect.
