| Description | Mainly carbon copies, with some original handwritten letters, comprising Moses Gaster's outgoing correspondence. The series is organised chronologically. Some folders have been organised alphabetically, whilst others are chronological. Various sytems of numbering have been adopted, and many of the folders are now out of sequence. Name indexes (some contemporary, others created since the collection was transferred to UCL) have been created, but do not exist for all folders. GASTER/9/2/2/1-22 (covering the period to 1919) have detailed descriptions including the names of correspondents. Basic descriptions exist for the rest of the series.
