AdminHistory'A new partnership for our schools' (also known as they Taylor Report) was a report of the Committee of Inquiry appointed jointly by the Secretary of State for Education and Science and the Secretary of State for Wales under the chairmanship of Mr Tom Taylor published in 1977. The Committee, set up in 1975, proposed changes to the organisation of governing bodies, including links between local and central governments and making the bodies more representative of parents and teachers.
