AdminHistory3 Grosvenor Terrace was the first official boarding house up to 1908. 15 Belvidere Road, later renamed 'School House' was opened in 1908, and was initially run by head mistress Isabel Rhys and her sister. In 1914, 22 Belvidere Road was opened as an additional boarding house, guest house and sanatorium. In 1918, 30 Belvidere Road ('Lancaster House') was opened as the first senior boarding house and from 1922 it was the Mistresses' Hostel. 'School House' and 22 Belvidere Road were sold in 1923, and 23 Belvidere Road became the new 'School House'. The Mistresses' Hostel was sold in 1933. 'School House' was closed after World War II and the building became the junior school.
