AdminHistory | Liverpool High School/ Belvedere School provided education for girls over 18 up to 1944. The school had provision for student teachers from 1888, and in 1904 was recognized by Board of Education as a teacher training school in conjunction with Liverpool East High School and the University of Liverpool. In 1916 the school also began to train nursery teachers and the course was recognised by the National Froebel Union in 1932. The school also offered a specialised domestic sciences course and a four year arts and crafts course. |
