Title	Early Press Cuttings

Description	Mounted press cutting regarding the beginnings of the Girls' Public Day School Company and various writings by the founders. Many of the press cuttings are undated but there has been an attempt to put them in order using the page numbers remaining from the original press cutting albums. Previous lists indicate that there were originally three volumes of press cuttings, possibly compiled by Mary Gurney. At some point before they were deposited in the IOE Archive, these volumes were dispersed and some of the pages were placed into relevant biographical files elsewhere in the collection.
