| AdminHistory | Maurice Llewelyn Davies was educated at Marlborough College and Balliol College, Oxford, and then joined the shipping firm Messrs Holt of Liverpool. He joined Council of Girton College, Cambridge in 1915. He was also the nephew of Emily Davies (1830–1921).
He was a member of the Council of the Girls' Public Day School Trust, 1915-1936; Vice-chair of the Council [1915]-1920; Chairman of the Council, 1920-1929; and Vice-President of the Trust, 1936-1938. |
