| AdminHistory | Born 21 May 1867. He was educated at Repton School and Christ's College, Cambridge. He worked as a barrister from 1892 and for the Charity Commission in 1895. Married 1899 to Zillah Gertude Andrews. He worked for the Board of Education from 1902 and was their legal advisor, 1925-1928. He was also a member of the Council of the Girls' Public Day School Trust, 1930-1947; and Chairman of the Council, 1938-1944. |
