Correspondence is grouped according to subject, Letters with guests after their visit (thanks, reports, Christmas greetings, etc.) are included. Subsequent correspondence with them, if any, is in 8/4 (or in a few cases, 8/2)
In December 2009 further items were located that had not be catalogued, when these files were catalogued in January 2010 they were placed after GER/7/1/69, consequently all following reference numbers in the series were altered to reflect the addition of 8 previously uncatalogued files. The original reference numbers that were changed as a result of this most recent cataloguing are included in the AltRefNo2 field |
