| Description | Materials relating to the the impacts of IT on the curriculum and teaching of subjects, and how IT affects the inspection of subjects by HMI committees.
The file is divided into several folders, each covering different academic subjects and the impacts IT has had on their teaching and inspection.
The subjects are as follows:
Folder 1: Art & Design Includes minutes, notes of visit, correspondence, a newsletter ('ACADE Newsletter', Vol. 1, No. 2, 1987 - ACADE is the Association for Computers in Art and Design Education), aides memoir, reports, conference materials ('The Computer in Art and Design Education'), articles, newspaper cuttings (photocopies), and some materials created by the Microelectronics Education Programme (MEP).
Folder 2: Craft, Design & Technology, 1977-1988 Includes reports, aides memoir, course materials, handwritten notes and articles.
Folder 3: Learning & Teaching of Language, 1983-1995 Includes aides memoir, correspondence, circulars and a booklet.
Folder 4: Language (English), 1985-1990 Includes booklets, reports, aides memoir and DES newsletters.
Folder 5: History & Social Sciences, 1981-1984 Includes articles, notes of visit and aides memoir.
Folder 6: Music, 1983-1991 Includes aides memoir, reports, talks, minutes, notes of visit and details of electronic music making equipment.
Folder 7: Economics & Business Studies, 1974-1985 Includes reports, aides memoir, a draft prospectus ('Information Technology in Business') and statements of criteria.
Folder 8: Home Economics, 1976-1987 Includes reports, minutes (Microcomputer Forum), articles and newsletter ('Teaching Home Economics: An 'Education' Digest', 1980
