DescriptionA notebook of George Greenough, entitled '1803 Sicily Malta Gibraltar'. It contains Greenough's handwritten notes from a trip to Sicily, including notes about the geology and geography of Sicily, and a trip to Naples and Mount Etna. Greenough escaped from Sicily on a boat to Malta, as the French had invaded Italy. From Malta Greenough eventually went on to Gibraltar.
