DescriptionA bound volume of George Greenough’s, entitled ‘Geological Scrap Book’. It mainly contains Greenough’s handwritten notes on astronomy, creationism, and geology, and their conflicting theories about the origins of the earth and the formation of different kinds of rocks.

The volume has been given page numbers and an index, however several of the sections are missing, or have been loosely reinserted elsewhere in the volume. It also contains many fragments of notes and printed pages, which have all been loosely inserted into the volume. Some folders have also been loosely inserted into the volume, which include material on glacial theory, ‘Change of Climate’, and the mines of Kongsberg, Norway.
